Procrastination: the choice we make when it seems like the task is too big to attempt. We do this because we mentally tell ourselves that this task is too hard, so we put up a mental wall. We catalog this task as not important because in reality, it usually is.

Our current society is easily set up for procrastination and easy access to distractions. The ease of turning on your phone and opening Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat is so tempting – much more appealing in the moment than completing an assignment. You tell yourself you’ll just read a quick story or check your Twitter feed. The next thing you know, an hour has flown by. Gone are all the worries and insecurities that we surround ourselves with.  Just a simple slide and tap and  we’re in our own social media bubble, ready to see what is going on in everyone else’s lives. Ultimately, it is so easy to obsess over the lives of others while forgetting our own.

Eventually, all procrastinators must face the consequences. . If not, Their world can come crashing down by waiting til the last minute  of doing something. I admit that I am  sometimes guilty of procrastination. It is important to stay focused in life in whatever goal you are trying to achieve.
